Torres started out as a dancer and model. She danced for the Southern California Summer Pro League in Long Beach, California and went on to become a member of the Los Angeles Clippers Spirit dance team during the 2006–2007 NBA season. Torres also appeared as a model on television shows, including Deal or No Deal and Show Me the Money.
Torres won the 2007 WWE diva Search to earn a contract with WWE. With her ring name shortened to Eve, she launched her WWE career in January 2008 as a television interviewer before transitioning to wrestling during the latter half of the year. She first captured the divas Championship in april 2010. Eve held the title on two more occasions, becoming the first person to win it three times. She is tied with AJ Lee for most Divas Championship reigns at three.
Following her retirement from professional wrestling in 2013, Torres focused on instructing Women Empowered, a self-defense program at Gracie University, a mixed martial arts school in Torrance, California. She created women Empowered with her husband, Rener Gracie. They also co-founded the Sleeper Hold Travel Pillow.
She was born Eve Marie Torres on August 21, 1984 (age 40) in Boston, Massachusetts, United States. After marrying Rener Gracie in April 2014, she changed her public name to Eve Torres Gracie.
