Berenato performed for WWE from 2015 to 2025 and notably held the WWE Women's Tag team champion one time (with Chelsea Green in 2023). She wrestled as Daria Berenato for WWE's NXT brand from December 2015 to April 2017, at which point she changed her ring name to Sonya Deville.
Berenato was informed by WWE officials that her WWE contract would not be renewed when it expired in February 2025. during an interview with Chris Van Vliet on INSIGHT with Chris Van Vliet in July 2025, Berenato discussed her life, what's next, and where she stands in the pro wrestling world today.
When asked whether she's done with professional wrestling, Berenato said, “definitely for now. Never say never. But like, right now I feel at peace with that.”
